Please don’t I barely understand subnetting as it is.
Please don’t I barely understand subnetting as it is.
Not to mention, it is entirely possible to get home from work, play, and then realize you are now late for work.
Its just engaging on a level that most modern game’s can’t hope to achieve.
Hell, I’ve installed a game (old), then installed mods, then resolved all the mod issues, then launch it to realize I don’t actually want to play it.
Factorio? Mods are easy, and vanilla is enough to keep someone occupied and happy if they lack internet or something.
Its light weight too, it costs me virtually nothing to install it on anything that can run it.
I’m not a dev, but I do some scripting. Mostly in a windows environment professionally, linux for personal reasons.
That being said, AI is great for getting a bulk outline of a script done, and you just gotta tweak a few things.
You still have to know what you’re doing, but it expedites things.
In the US, you can get varying dosages based on a variety of commercial factors.
That being said, 1000mg a dose not to exceed 4000mg in a 24 hour periods is the standard… well, was, its been a while since I was a pharmacy tech.
Something tells me the latter has already occurred.
Those spirochetes are leaving hole like a cork screw in his brain.
There are people who legitimately can’t take some vaccines for legit medical reasons. For example, I worked in a hospital and was required to get an annual flu shot and it was always an issue. Why? I’m epileptic, and it could trigger a seizure. I never had an issue though, and fought to get the vaccine. Only missed one year with a charge nurse who wouldn’t risk it. I then went and got it on my own. Hospital acquired infections are no joke, and that applies to the staff as well as patients.
But other than that, I agree.
I have an analog clock in my man cave. Its very steam punk in design. It is NOT accurate and is ONLY a decoration piece that gets corrected when I can spare the attention. It runs fast, if anyone cares.
Ultimately, my wife liked it, bought it for me, and put it up. Not gonna upset her over something I really don’t care about.
I’m sorry, I missed this. Reputable link please?
I don’t need more reasons to boycott Ubi, but more gas for the fire.
In my southern portion of the US, I find it better to just let shit slide. Never know who is armed with two short cannons, a .38 snub, and the reason for their lifted truck that has never seen “off” roads.
You mean Burma? Cause I dig their take on Buddhism.
Worked in Yellowstone.
The bears are smarter than the majority of tourists.
Humans, being able to read and having signs posted in multiple languages for them, choose to ignore the various hazards and blunder through them.
Bears, only rarely, if ever, find themselves in trouble with natural features. And they can’t read the warning signs.
It is. Yikes.
Sadly, people think like this, I’ve known more than a few in Texas - having spent my whole life in this shit hole.
This is just a symptom of a larger problem in some communities; and it won’t be the ones most expect - locally speaking.
I’m sure anyone who lives outside a Christofascist state would be right on the money with their guess though.
Step one: Buy a few firearms, for different scenarios (which should be easier under Trump sigh)
Step two: Go to work, home, and limit unnecessary errands, order for delivery more.
Step three: Practice marksmanship with various firearms. I have a country, but sane, friend of the family with a shooting range on her land.
Step four: Hunker down in my deep red state, because I hold non-christian belief’s and I won’t recant them on pain of death. Not because my beliefs “protect” me, but because as an American, I believe in freedom of religion and I’ll die a proud American before I die as a Christian, my belief’s don’t matter compared to that. The protection of those belief’s does.
Honestly, I pay for top of line parts. I realize I’m limitiing myself on good games, but…
I paid for this shit, I try to keep top of the line because it is still my hobby (though, my time doesn’t allow anymore) and I want to push my hardware.
Low bit games, however good, don’t get a chance because… god damn, I expect better. I’m a 80s baby, and 90s kid. Nickelodeon early nick toons are my jam.
I paid for it, let me experience it.
I want to PUSH my hardware, and fine tune for play-ability, as expenses allow.
That being said, I love MMOs and realize how hard they can be to “upgrade” for all users… but damn, I don’t have the time or energy anymore. I wish I could raid EQ bosses like I was 13 on summer break, but I fucking can’t.
At the end of the day, I hope creative minds create new paradigms in gaming with limited resources. At this point, it is the only way we will grow. AAA studios make rehashes of former successes, which fail, and no one wants them. Gameplay has died, its been several years, and as an “old-head” (Quest for Glory 1 was my first PC game, with parser prompts) and I miss games. Even those are simple by today’s standard - but they still stand up in a shorter format.
I get that old reference, but these days and much more broadly, twink is for a term for a gay man with a certain body type, or other physical characteristics.
So you might get some odd looks using that in public.
Obama wore a suit, and he got shit because they didn’t like the color.
Trump on the other hand, wears diapers and has inspired his moronic base to wear them publicly as well. Not just, under their clothing like a normal person, they think its better than pants.

I wish I had that option in a previous campaign.
We even had a rule set, if your character dies, you can reroll a new character. Same level. Gearing would be similar (in power, not the same gear).
I hated my character. Mechanically I just did NOT enjoy playing them.
Being a mentally ill character (GOO warlock, Cthulhuesque patron of madness, part of the pact) I turned to depression, fool hardy risks, etc. The DM just would NOT let that character die.
I just wanted to play a character that better fit the party and campaign. Having a “Face” character in a campaign with a stupid barbarian (both player and int score) that solved every problem with a great axe, and if there wasn’t a problem created one, was useless.
Got stopped by guards at the gate of a new town? Instead of just talking for 30 seconds, the party wound up jailed and forced into trial by combat. It didn’t end well. Then I (the host for every session, but not DM) changed jobs and schedules and no one else would host so it died.
Don’t work in medical IT.
It has been literally life and death before.
I watched a documentary on it at one point, and it’s not a pleasant experience, at least from an outside perspective.
Pretty much every orifice is gonna have something coming out of it, often simultaneously.
I’m curious about it’s use in treating addiction, what with sharing a house with an alcoholic relative.
To be fair, the vast majority of Russian troops were also cannon fodder.
