Yeah, something in the algorithm that prevents one magazine or one instance dominating would be the best approach.
Get ready to have your mind blown
@chris Thanks, but I’m still confused. Where in kbin do I see what they post and boost?

@CrystalEYE not that I’m aware of. however you could create a magazine, and add all the hashtags you are interested in as tags. Then the microblog section of that magazine will be a collection of posts that contain those hashtags.
I actually mean both posts and threads, and any other content the people I follow may create.
I’m wondering what is the point of following people on kbin.
It’s federating with Lemmy.world

Must be something particular with kbin

I’ve played the crap out of slay the spire. One of my all time favourite games. But I really struggle to convince anyone of why it’s great…
Just bought it on my mobile, and now have the fun of completing it again.
I appreciate the point you are making, but here’s a solid example of how it gets confusing.
ANNOUNCEMENT: defederating effective immediately from lemmy.world and sh.itjust.works
Who is defederating?

I like that kbin and Lemmy aren’t going to have an entire team of people doing continuous A/B testing to find what drives the most engagement.
Much less chance of this ending up as a dopamine slot machine.
