They’re just ridiculously overpriced. Yes yes yes I know I know pc gaming good but you’re literally spending the cost or more of a PS5 on a graphics card, it’s just not competitive in the gaming sphere. I know I’m not looking to upgrade any time soon

I’m really glad to have found Beehaw, it’s extremely close to what I really enjoy in a community. As someone who isn’t really a tech person in any respect, I’m happy to find something using Lemmy that isn’t either strictly tech focused or politics focused. Everything looks really cool and I’ve been enjoying posting here :)

I despise new Reddit so much, I’m going to miss RIF terribly. It’s really the perfect app for how I like to use reddit.

I’m in Chicago and just take buses and trains everywhere if I have to go beyond walking distance. As someone with a young child it can be a bit difficult sometimes but it’s mostly manageable. if I have to go somewhere weird in the city that that would take multiple lines to get to I just use an Uber, this is so rare.

This isn’t an ideological thing for me or anything I just don’t have car money

As a clumsy person I cannot imagine them lasting long with how often I drop my phone. I’m not big on buying new phones extremely often anyways, I can still get a number of years out of my Galaxy S10 I think
