I tried from lemmy.ml, lemmy.ca, and beehaw.org
I seem to be able to use @magazinenamehere@kbin.social
(what shows up under the magazine name in the sidebar) in some places (i.e in the sidebar of the NFL magazine) but I used the same format in the post above and it thinks from trying to link to a user called NFL rather than the magazine.
I guess I just thought tags/@'s should be used wherever possible but I can definitely just use the URL as I normally would on other sites.
Thanks for the info! Is it possible that you need to be signed in to the lemmy instance for it to work? I tried [email protected] from a couple of different instances a couple of times each and no results show up.
Damn! Maybe next time!
Also a third question… How do you properly link to a magazine? Cause apparently I don’t know how to do that either lol
Tell me about it!
Keep sharing on @NFL please :)
@communist Not sure honestly, the whole platform (kbin/lemmy) is definitely too confusing for the general public to figure out… But maybe that’s for the better? All I know is kbin was much easier to join (I tried several lemmy instances several times and just got stuck on the spinning signup wheel every time) Also, the kbin interface/layout seems a bit nicer than the lemmy default that many instances are using.
I’m also using kbin right now, but from the mobile site. I’m super new (this is my first ever comment!). Can I use Jerboa for kbin too or do I have to use a kbin specific app?
That’s exactly what I’ve been trying… Not sure why it’s not working for me
