You’re clearly a citizen of the most propagandized population in the world, the US.

Thank you for standing up and demonstrating exactly how propagandized American citizens are. It’s as if you live on a different planet with a couple of these.

    • Afghanistan is a US puppet-government since Hamid Karzai was installed (or as lennybird might say “democratically elected”). 😹

    • North Korea is an admittedly awful dictator-run country that I might have mentioned but decided not to because their situation is a direct result of US/NATO meddling and embargoes. I’ve been critical of them in the past but someone put it this way to me: Starve a nation and see how desperate they get. They certainly aren’t good but I’d call them victims of meddling by the rest of the world than pointing my finger at them as EVIL.

    • China is 50-50 for me. I’m anti-authoritarian. So, I dislike that nation pretty strongly. I will say this though that they have over the great satan the US: No one is homeless, no one struggles to pay for medical expenses, no one goes hungry, they’re doing something about the environment, the beat the shit out of the US for trains, etc, etc. The Uyghurs thing is something that has been alleged but not sufficiently proven. I’ve only heard it from the same people that said “Iraq has weapons of mass destruction” so you’ll have to provide better evidence than citing some unfounded CIA hit-piece. I’d be happy to correct myself though if you can provide some evidence of that. I’m no hexbear China supporter but they’re far from the most evil country, IMO.

Hahahahahahah, thanks for the laugh. This doesn’t even warrant a rebuke. I rest my case.

Yikes. Yeah… I can only imagine what wonderful utopia you hail from.

Considering you sidestepped Saudi Arabia it makes me wonder…

Be honest, Lennybird. Did you not recognize the Saudi flag? They were on my list. I know Americans don’t study geography so I’ll give you the benefit of the doubt. Weirdly, I even mentioned specifically that they chopped up Jamal Khashoggi and you STILL didn’t make the connection. You have an excuse though. America has a terrible school system so you can’t be blamed for being ignorant. Alabama right?

The other most richly comical thing about pompous Americans is that they love to pretend that some foreign nation would brother operating hundreds of LEMMY accounts. It’s usually Russia or China, though. So congrats on being a tad more creative as a gullible sheep terminally infected with CIA brain-worms.

Oh I’ll be honest: I’m just chuckling at your presumptuous nonsense, speculating so desperately over what I do or do not know. Classic over-confidence and arrogance shrouded as confidence derived from intellect. You see it all the time with people trying to project something greater than they are in anonymity.

No, quite obviously I was was referencing the comparative order by which you place Israel higher than Saudi Arabia. That, for anyone with a reading-level above the 8th grade I surmise would grasp pretty easily. Naturally, the selective nature of your response and choice to forego the defense of Israel probably led you to realize that the likes of Middle East states ranging from Saudi Arabia to Syria have both atrocious human rights records and civilian death tolls by their own right. So color me intrigued. Not to say that I think Israel is a utopia… But let’s not forget the prompt here: favorite / least favorite countries… And in that respect, the vast majority of the Israeli citizenry actually detests Netanyahu; and at least the Israeli civilians have some semblance of freedom, unlike the tyrants of Syria, Saudi Arabia, China, Russia, etc. etc. So color me amused how you try to frame this so desperately in this anti-Western rhetoric that is so patently… Primitive. Pardon me for going low, but I have to say that when you try so desperately to sow classic anti-American rhetoric about education when… You know, we’re the leader of higher education in the entire world, and I’m willing to bet that whatever nation you hail from — and conveniently neglect to mention — we outperform both in education attainment and academic achievement. (And say, wait a minute… The device you’re writing to me on is all thanks to American innovation and invention. You’re welcome.)

              Please, try again.

And when you muster up the courage, do let me know the utopian nation from where you reside.

Edit: I’m betting money it’s China. Are you even allowed to say Tiananmen Square Protest and Massacre? Are you even allowed to visit this link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1989_Tiananmen_Square_protests_and_massacre — copy and paste the 4th paragraph to confirm!
