The only reason I actually hope these things take off is because I’m a shut-in and disabled, and would love to see the world through VR. But I imagine I’m part of a very tiny minority.
Add to that, I’m South American and live with 6k USD a year (comfortably, for now). I could save up, but there’s no way I’m spending more than 400-500 USD on a headset, no matter which brand it is.
