You can use a controller and it works great, but at this point I bet you’d rather use a larger device. It does make a lot more sense on iPads though

Their latest announcements are interesting because they say some of their privacy claims will be verifiable by independent firms (mainly when it comes to their custom built AI servers iirc). Is this actually worth something or is it just marketing fluff?
Just buy used. You get all the goodies without supporting their shitty practices, while not even having to deal with the ethics of piracy. It’s all win.
I feel like people will still be saying this in ten years (sadly)
I don’t know about the 400Mhz part but I’ve had a similar experience with my 2012 Retina MacBook Pro. I replaced the battery multiple times with an iFixit one, and since then the computer has had all kinds of problems (dying at 40% battery, randomly switching off and other similar things). I’m on my third replacement battery, so either I’m really unlucky or there’s something fishy going on
Yup, Lemmy is just as toxic if not more on some aspects
Good thing I’m only talking about the connector then, not its performance.
Definitely! We’ll probably never know why they decided to stay on USB 2, it’s such a weird decision. Maybe there really were hardware limitations, but that sounds weird
Does it? I’ve never seen it. I’m only talking about the connector here, not the cable (which has always been shit)
I’m all for the switch to USB C but Lightning as a connector is objectively better. It’s smaller, more durable, feels better to use and even looks better.
If it hadn’t been proprietary, it would have pretty much been the perfect connector.
Edit: hey guys instead of mindlessly downvoting without saying anything, I’d love to hear your point of view, I’m always open to changing my mind.
That’s what everybody has been saying every year since like 2017. New iPhones have always been very iterative apart from a few exceptions.
I started drawing when Reddit collapsed. Now I get to look at pieces of paper (or Procreate…) instead, that’s kind of better
I’m annoyed by all those Facebook-type boomer comics you see on basically all meme subs. Reddit culture managed to get rid of them, but for some reason people here seem to love them
Yeah, I feel like it’s one of the best current logos. It’s simplified but not oversimplified and it looks really good.
it’s just a stupid meme bro
I used to love playing Infinity Blade back in the day, but it was another time and they were games built from the ground up for touch screens so it’s not really comparable
