It’d be nice to have a Kbin app on android. I signed up for a lemmy instance because none existed and I didn’t like using the web interface on mobile.

I personally find it very easy to use, but to each their own! Is there any forum software you prefer?
I definitely agree with them not using Lemmy. I think one centralised forum makes sense for large projects to use. Much easier to organize and manage.
Important to note that NixOS has both a rolling release and point release version.
Most mainstream distro’s can do all of that without a CLI.
A simple bash script is not reproducible or deterministic. Also a filesystem rollback is not the same as NixOS’s generation based rollback.
Also, NixOS doesn’t just install packages, all system configuration is done declaratively, which would be a very bad idea to do via a bash script.
I wonder why those chose mybb over discourse. I definitely prefer the latter.
Reverse proxy and local DNS. Just add the domains you want to your DNS and point them at the reverse proxy.
Firefox and Helix
I’m considering switching to Kagi because of this. Its results are impressive.
Performance wise yes, user experience wise no.
I don’t know how much you’d like it since the shooters on your list aren’t super similar, but Xdefiant should be releasing soon and is f2p. I really enjoyed the closed betas. There’s an open one June 21-23 if you want to give it a try.
If a community had no moderation other communities would defederate them, locking them into their own instance. If they had the illegal content you described, they would probably be taken down fairly quickly.
It allows your car to become damaged if you hit a surface too hard. Being damaged will screw up your steering.
I’ve been emulating Mario Party Superstars and Mario Kart 8. Yuzu’s multiplayer is amazing!
They’re functionally very similar but are two seperately developed pieces of software. The lemmy devs are tankies and many would prefer to completely avoid using something from them. I don’t believe there’s anything to worry about, as the devs can’t control individual instances.
The difference is just that you log on using two different sites. They can access the same federated content. Just read the rules of both instances and see if you prefer one or the other.
You should consider adding a link to this post in the about section of the sub
Oatmilk is easily the best alternative imo. It can be frothed pretty well too.
I get that, they’re a bit confusing at first. I’d highly recommend looking at Caddy, it’s configuration is very simple. Really all you have to do is pick a domain name and point it at the correct port. If you’re only accessing locally you don’t even need to buy a domain.
