I am glad that you like it. It would be nice to have little more traffic but post quality is more important so I can’t complain.

Where I am you get about 100 € tax write off per donation, one donation is about 0.5l so you could write off about 6 000 € from your personal tax returns.
Shamelessly promoting my community again: [email protected]
It averages about 1 post per week but it certainly isn’t dead.
Week ago I listened to a podcast about history of misinformation and censorship in first republic Czechoslovakia.
And tldr of it is that we didn’t learn anything - they wanted to regulate sale of newspapers and everyone listened radio.
I think there is big parallel the discussion about censorship was same, and when it was implemented it wasn’t effective. Be it Russian propaganda or some other affairs.
In Czech news it says 4 dead and 27 hospitalized. Some are released already.
In the morning news it was little bit fuzzy but now these numbers are confirmed by police.
I think that basic internet etiquette is enough. I had to deal only with that (someone wasn’t very nice when someone asked regular question) once. Other thing that is good to moderate is off topic posts - it is nothing personal just to give the community “the feel”.
For interaction with others I think that it doesn’t need to be in every thread or answering every comment. Just as regular user would interact-I really don’t understand power users.
Simon Tatham’s Puzzles
F Droid app that is regularly updated. It has 40 puzzles with weird names this one is named Keen.
You are right - you don’t see what’s under water. These are streams (op’s and mine photo) so there is usually hard gravel so no problem with 30mm+ tires.
In my case there were bigger stones so if you hit them in best case you fell off bike, in worst case you fell off and damage wheels.
Sometimes it is best to get off and push your bike.
I had to. It is few weeks old foto - behind me is steep gravel downhill and you see this streem in the last moment so I had to slam my brakes. One side had pretty big stones so if I didn’t check it I would end up in it.
It is little bit more buggier but it may be the hardware and I can’t get it with xfce.
I don’t want to mess that deep in the system, just get it to my favorite theme and leave it be. So it is basically out of the box experience.
Slow one but- several years of drought and then bug infestation of some of our forests.
It affected badly planted forests (monocultures) but still it is sad to see bare places you remember covered.
There are several of these man made disasters around here but this one is most visible.
Which flavor did you choose? I am now rocking basic mint with XFCE on my older machine and LMDE on newer.
I heard even more radical proposal (not in us) - cap the voting age. Reason is simple, by voting you decide about future, how can pensioners who, frankly, will die soon can reasonably decide about my future if I am 20 yo.
Man you have 6 days old account. I had to deal with one comment as a mod, I checked the account (for other posts and comments), saw that it is exeption and just deleted it.
If I saw few days old account I would just ban it.
Dobrovský a Šídlo, epizoda vyšla před 14 ti dny. Války neprohrávají vojáci ale zbabělý politici.
On one Czech podcast the host summed it up nicely: EU and Czech Republic politicians should pull their heads out of ass and realize that Russia is in full blown hybrid war with us. Disinformation campaigns, cyber attacks and sabotage of ammunition depots.
For me it was network card and underpowered POS laptop. For light office work and web it is enough computing power with Linux but with Windows it was unusable.
When you look at it in context:
City population: ~450 k people. Students: ~50 k only about 10-15% from Brno.
So this city loses about 1/8 of population in summer months.
Edit: bad math 1/8 not 1/5
Czech Republic, it has some requirements like it has to be voluntary, in good faith…
But basically you get 3000 czk write off per donation max 12 000 czk per year (you can donate every 3 months).
