Top tier response. Well done. Full marks.

I really want to know the specific “performance enhancing drugs” these people think Biden is using. No hand-waving. Be explicit and tell everyone what magical drugs these are and then let’s test them both for these drugs.
No, but it’s commercial production. We do 3D video production.
Yes and yes. Currently I use Moon Player and that supports all the major formats - SBS (both full and half), OU (both full and half), 360 and 180 immersive, and fisheye videos too. It supports SMB shares through the Apple Files app, DLNA support, and work-in-progress YouTube support.
None of the people that own one that I know and none of the ones that we bought for our company use have had this issue. I’m convinced it’s from people setting it down on the front glass instead of using the provided cover.
I love how everyone that’s answering has all these hot takes and doesn’t own one when you specifically asked for answers from owners…
I have one. It’s awesome. The screen mirroring from Macs alone is worth it. The weight isn’t as bad as people claim but it is notable. Future versions will be better just by virtue of being lighter. I don’t use mine every day for productivity but I watch a lot of movies on it (especially 3D content) and it’s way better than watching on those old 3D TVs with the glasses. I use it mostly for recording spatial video for clients and we’re planning on buying more spatial cameras because of the success of that.
Gen 2 upgrades for me? Just keep making the battery life longer and keep making it lighter and slimmer, just like the evolution of iPhones and whatnot. Also, probably just a software update but a few of our team have one and it would be nice to share immersive environments/apps. Everyone is siloed in their own view currently.
Ok…and? If it doesn’t send it to Apple then they’re not tracking anything. Stop talking nonsense.
It seems it’s available for any input from the camera, not just FaceTime. The selection they showed was the menu bar camera usage indicator.
No. They don’t track anything. It’s all on-device.
Yeah… a tragic mishap is getting your balls stuck in your zipper because you had to pee so bad you tried to rip your pants off. This is a bit more than a “tragic mishap”. ಠ_ಠ
You didn’t. You said some bullshit about how many nodes there are.
You did not say that. That’s why you got downvoted to hell. Since you can’t be honest, I’m done here.
There doesn’t need to be. My argument is not bullshit, you just don’t understand the differences between blockchain and a standard database and are pretending you do which makes the argument impossible for you to understand.
Are you dense, man? No one said that. They’re saying that one blockchain would take several hundred DBs to equal its energy use. You’re wrong and doubling down for some reason and it’s just making you look silly.
We’re not comparing millions of DBs to a single blockchain. We’re comparing 1 DB to 1 blockchain instance. If you had millions of blockchains, you would use exponentially more energy for the same data vs. a normal database. Updating tables is not the same thing as hashing and validating every prior entry in the table.
The only person here who doesn’t know what they’re talking about is you. If you took a standard DB (MySQL or Postgres, for example) and took that same information and stored it on a blockchain instead, you’d use far more energy on the blockchain and the issue would only get exponentially worse as the chain got bigger. Normal DBs don’t need to hash new entries or validate them against previous entries that are also hashed.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen a gesture-based keyboard that worked well. Got any examples?
I think people would learn to move out of the way at that point or just use Siri to respond. That felt very much like a “first-time” faux pas when he stops on the stairs.
Yes, I got that. That’s why I called them “magical”. I’m pretty sure everyone knows they don’t exist. That’s the point.
