I’ve noticed it need a lot of time to start even with good hardware and the confusing part it’ll throw errors rather than doing nothing.

Now to configure sponsorblock, go to settings > advance > select downloader: choose yt-dlp

Then go to settings > downloader > global custom args type this: --sponsorblock-remove,all

Now, for all new videos, it will download the video and remove all sponsorblock marked segments.

It does support sponsorblock. You need to add a tag within the command and it’ll apply it to all new videos.

There’s environment entry to disable domain check but it’ll not run as you must configure reverse proxy at least to get the certificate. I spent 3 hours yesterday until I gave up and removed it.

I’m referring to a situation where the programmer made a function multithreaded but hard coded creating only 4 threads “to fully utilize a 4 core cpu”

It’s mildly infuriating tbh but I understand it’s hard to implement threading for some functions.

What actually infuriates me more is some AAA titles that specifically utilize 4 threads of my 3950x 32 threads cpu.

Every other update would show an ad to use it. Also, you cannot remove it afaik.

First of all, I know other browsers keep update in about page, however, this is why I don’t use them. It wasn’t used to be in a burger menu tho.

Second, add-ons and theme isn’t saying exactly “extensions”. Also, it would take you to the last tab which is by default plug-ins. try it.

I like Firefox and I’d support the developers but they should stick to their roots to keep their current user base.
