Been using /e/OS on a OnePlus 6T for the last ~2 years and love it. The built-in ad tracker blocker works well. GoS works for the best part and if it doesnt, heading over to the website usually works.
Easily done within Magic Earth
Next to KDEconnect, I freaking love Freetube. Just a nice application
What’s the browseraudit.com score of using it?
YES!!! So glad there are VAST fan out there
Switching to a new browser was mentally painful?
Same. I have tow phones, one personal and one business. Kept it in my personal one, between phone and case. You never know when you or someone else might need it.
Project /e/OS (Custom Android Rom) maintains their own version built into the Rom. Funny how I didnt know this and when I downloaded QKSMS just now, I was like “This looks oddly familiar”

No particular reason, honestly. Ran Manjaro for ~4 years and just wanted something new. A lot of trial and error installing and just wanted a fresh start with the additional knowledge that I had gained over the years.
Same similar story but was running Manjaro beforehand. Liking EndeavourOS so for as well!
Did have a Grub issue but after a day of what I call “constructive troubleshooting / learning”, was able to rescue my installation.
Just got to have the drive to learn sometimes
One reason I shop at Aldi’s. Their cashiers sat down. I respect that. I shop there.
American
Top two for me are Freetube and KDE Connect.
Sharing files (and all the other features) with KDE Connect across 2 devices on same network has never been so easier.
Could always get one second hand. Currently using /e/OS on a OnePlus 6t, and its quick and smooth.
Honestly this phone is great for modding, cost about $75
Believe they are reworking the launcher, Bliss, in an upcoming update
Agreed. Also from a Tech support POV, there is no “standard” OS and troubleshooting the vast different environments would be a pain. With Windows, you have a standard layout, with couple different versions - Home / Pro / Enterprise. With linux, you have different syntax, differnt DE’s, etc. Still use Linux at home / work but i am interested in it. Got to have that motivation to do so.
Same thing with moving to Lemmy, gotta have that motivation to make the change.
Micro center carries soundcore products. Where I bought my current P2-L headphones, couple years back.
Warpinator helps with transferring files over from PC to Steam Deck. Although KDE Connect is preinstalled on the Steam Deck, Warpinator just seems to work better / more consistently
Have you tried Only Office? Recently discovered the application and kinda like it more than LibreOffice
Interesting!
