For a while streamers were doing this thing where they would renew a show for Season 2 before the Season 1 pilot even released. I guess it was a way to project confidence to the audience?? Or maybe just to get the production pipeline moving so there wouldn’t be 2+ years in between season releases.

I’m done giving developers a pass for not even putting in the minimum. Larian and Bethesda didn’t even put horses in their games because they’re so afraid of rendering the sack.
Everyone says Phantom Liberty will finally redeem Cyberpunk, so I can only assume CD Projekt has spent the past three years creating a perfect horse with the most dazzling balls we’ve ever seen. Can’t wait for those RTX and DLSS 3.5 rendered oysters.

It is wild/infuriating how difficult it is to avoid Reddit in search results. It feels like we’ve really let the value of the internet just accrue in one place.
Doesn’t seem too bad, your beans seems very fresh, leading to that crema-heavy cone forming. While it looks fun, I normally find shots taste better when there’s not so much CO2 coming out.
If the result is TOO foamy, you might be frothing a little too hard or long. The biggest general tips I can give are:
-Try to keep the tip fully under the surface of the milk, you want the froth sound to be gentle and not see large bubbles being created. -Once the milk no longer feels cold, push the frother a bit deeper so it is no longer adding air, but is only rolling the milk.

While the PID is primarily installed to fix the temperature stability issue, it also allows you to adjust your brew temp if you want to try a 90-degree shot and then crank it back up to 98 for a different roast.
People talk a lot about how the Gaggia doesn’t hold temp while brewing, but the boiler can also get too hot, hurting your shot.
My wife really likes Perc Coffee’s (Savannah, GA) Juggernaut blend. Which they self-describe as a “darkish” roast. She ordered a 2lb bag of it that we’ve been working our way through.
I always feel spoiled when I switch off the lighter roasts I normally pull. Juggernaut just pulls so beautifully without having to constantly grind finer every couple of days. Next will be a Tanzanian bean from a local roaster called Eastlick. The tasting notes are “Clementine, Rooibos Tea, Candied Orange Peel” so it should be interesting.
