An asterism! Very cool and Unicode standard! I’m on board.

For steam, it’s identical to windows. Literally do nothing other than install steam, install game, and hit run. The only time it’s a problem is if a game offers a native Linux version but the native version has been hamstrung by the publisher (see: rocket league). In which case all you do is go to the properties of the game, force a proton version, and it will redownload the windows version and work just fine. The only other exception would be for multiplayer games that have not upgraded their anticheat version to one compatible with proton. That’s starting to be more rare thanks to steamdeck.
As for wine, Lutris is a great example of an application with community maintained/driven configurations for popular games and applications to be installed in a couple simple clicks and works the majority of the time.
For other applications, it really depends. My general rule is— if it’s not on steam and nobody has made a script for Lutris, I’ll look for native and open source alternatives. If I can’t find one, then look for instructions on setting it up with wine by hand as a last resort. Finally, can I just live without the app instead?
I might be in the minority but Chappie was a really good movie. It’s a real bummer Die Antword were so horrible to work with that the director kinda gave up on it.
I physically can’t wear in-ear headphones or headphones that require a seal. Noise cancellation only really works if you have a solid seal either in-ear or over ear. I also hate the isolated feel of noise cancellation, I leave it turned off when I wear any over ear headsets (AirPods max, Sony XM4). I absolutely adore my AirPods 3 and I will upgrade to the 4s assuming they remain accessible to me.
Lyrics are a pretty good base. Especially in passphrase style with spaces if supported, along with punctuation and capitals/numbers. What sucks is when an account system can’t support a long password. That’s the most frustrating requirement for any service and the greatest vulnerability of all the common restrictions.
One can also mix in numbers and symbols and capital letters with their passphrase / sentence. Throw in a comma, exclamation mark, replace an l with 1, o with 0, etc. of course it’s diminishing returns with a sufficiently long passphrase but it can help against dictionary type attacks by adding additional mutations / steps to the cracking.
My go-to is just “my radio” on Apple Music because it plays a large variety of hits and deep cuts of music in my library / that I like while sprinkling in new and old stuff that I don’t have or haven’t heard. I’ve discovered so many great songs and artists over the years by just asking Siri to “play some music” it’s effectively endless good music that can be switched up any time if I want a different vibe by simply re-asking the same question or saying “play something different”.
Otherwise a solid go-to for me is the lofi beats to study to radio and many of its sub-specialties like lofi synthwave or lofi jazz or even lofi christmas.
There’s no longer any restrictions on feeezing and thawing your credit from the big 3 agencies. All of them also offer temporary thawing that automatically freeze after a designated time. Do not under any circumstance permanently thaw them again. If you need new credit cards, credit checks from apartments or mortgaging / car loans, just work with your lender / seller to figure out which agency they will query and when. Set a temporary thaw for as small amount of time as you can, and all will be peachy. What’s more, after a temporary thaw, get a credit report in a couple months after that to verify nothing snuck in during that time.
Same with your pits and junk. Just a normal bar of unscented soap is all you need to not be stinky and prevent bacterial growth particularly during the summer. Unless you have special needs based on skin conditions or gland conditions of course.
Most aftermarket installations just use a splice connector on the 12V that runs to the cigarette lighter.
