  • These are not necessarily unpopular in terms of subscribers, but nieche in terms of topics:

    • acollierastro: theoretical physicist with a unique style. What got me hooked are her videos debunking or responding to popular scientific misconceptions.
    • Ben Eater: teaches computer related subjects like electronics, networking, low level programming, architecture etc. in a fun way. He has a series where he builds a computer from scratch with cables and circuit boards.
    • Living Ironically in Europe: if 2balkans4you was a youtube channel, although he has some serious content as well
    • Masaman: mostly talks about genetics, he hasn’t made any new videos in a while.
    • Max Derrat: he seems to have deep knowledge about occult stuff and its history which he uses to analyse video games and other media.
    • Ostura Official TV: progressive metal band from Lebanon.

  • I used both Spotify and Tidal, I have upper mid range headphones and I couldn’t tell the difference in quality.

I’m now using YouTube Music because it costs the same as Spotify (around $4 in my country) but I also get YT Premium, so no YT ads on mobile either. On desktop I’m using an ad blocker, so by having premium I can support the creators that I watch without wasting my time with ads.

  • I had an art teacher when I was around 12 years old who hated my guts. I wasn’t the most well behaved student but the things she did was sometimes petty other times aggressive.

She once threw a water bottle at me because I had a chat with the guy next to me. She missed but the bottle damaged the wall next to me.

She told my girlfriend to stay after class because she wants to talk to her. She spent 10 minutes trying to get her to break up with me.

She never failed to tell me that I’m a good for nothing and I’ll probably end up as a homeless drunk and I’ll live beside the road.

She always made fun of my drawings and paintings trying to humiliate me in front of the class.

I wasn’t her only target, she had one in every class.

  • There’s a difference between respecting someone and treating them with respect. True respect has to be earned, while everyone should be treated with respect by default (until they give you a reason not to).

If your teacher is an asshole, depending on your situation, it might be in your best interest to act as if you respected them for your own sake.

I started playing just before the Netflix show came out and I loved it, it quickly became one of my favorite open world car games, in the same tier as San Andreas and Sleeping Dogs.

By the end I became completely unstoppable, I played as a melee netrunner and it was insane. I didn’t really mind because the story and world more than made up for it.
