I actually prefer it that way. With tabbed Ribbons (Is it how they’re called?), I constantly have to look over and over again which tab the thing I need is located, ending up in question why X is put here but not there.
Make ceramics. It’s really meditative. Time passes so quickly as I focus on the spinning clay on the wheel.

1, 2 and 4 all together sounds like a recipe for incessant alignment meetings. Especially in organisations where teams are not stable, where people come and go or have multiple projects to take care of. It is just a loss of knowledge and everyone has something different in their minds.
I just tried it out. Good that it allows you to collapse it.
I enjoyed using Hangouts. I still do. But the plethora of communication apps Google makes always give me chills that the judgement day is just round the corner. And by the time it arrives, it will just end up as another name on the list without much resort.
I love it when you have physical buttons you can push. The rebound and the knack-knack sound are nothing replaceable by touch screens.
