So, the big stink about BPA (a type of plastic) e:below is that it interferes with certain hormones in the body. I don’t know for sure what the concerns are with other microplastics, but I do remember reading they strongly suspect they can do similar things to our endocrine systems, as well as being probable carcinogens.

Best I could do in my hometown was call center for an alarm company. The pay was $12/hour (in 2010), but we were completely disallowed anything on the floor other than 1 (one) pen, 1 (one) blank notebook, and a water bottle. Our computers didn’t have internet access, so we got to sit there with our thumbs up our asses until the phone rang.

I lasted about 4 weeks.

Some places still do their own deliveries, but most in my area ONLY do UberEats, to the extent that they’ve cut their delivery staff. The only consistent holdouts seem to be the Chinese places.
