2 days agoSame with me. Deleted my 13-year-old account and finally joined Lemmy yesterday. I actually found an app that looks a whole lot like Relay for Reddit back in the day. So now I’m totally comfortable here.

1·2 days agoIf you jump to the 16 minute mark of this video, you can see engineers in the 90s brainstorming the concept of having a scanner built into the cart. The idea has been around for a while.
The whole video is a time capsule in itself.

Well I was told that deporting people would solve the housing crisis. Since that isn’t working out killing 4.5 million Americans seems like their fallback position.
