When working on an office, it’s great and all that you have “the power of accurate observation” but god our Debbie downer is insufferable.

Hot take: I have never regretted being circumcized and never met anyone who regretted being circumcized so banning it doesn’t make sense for that reason alone. Some parents pierce their children’s ears without their consent, some give them frenectomies, pull teeth, reshape heads, bind feet, or do a variety of other “elective” procedures so I’m not sure why circumcision has so much hate.
My wife and I collect souvenir lapel pins from places we travel to. We write the date on the back, and keep them in a shadow box on the wall in chronological order.
It’s nice as it’s not very expensive to buy them, and they don’t take up a lot of space to keep, and we have a nice little history of our travels at a glance.
This is the kind of post that scares me away from trying Linux.
It’s been tough switching from managing data and processes to managing people. But I make a LOT more money. It’s also nice not having to watch someone else make poor decisions all the time, but I guess now everyone else is now watching me make the poor decisions! 🤦♂️
Which were a parody of the motivational posters.
“if you’re not with us, you’re against us” in this society. It’s insane. There is no room for independent thought, views, or opinions. No contrasting points of view, no critical thinking, no wavering on the established position of your side. Align your beliefs with ours or you will be admonished and labeled and cast aside as a terrible person.
What is the good message?

WTF is that description
Yep, it just mounts like an external USB drive and you can load it with epub files. Alternatively, you can use calibre that will handle your library on your computer and will detect and load what you want on the Kindle as you desire.
You can do this with a kindle, too. I’m not advocating for them specifically, just pointing out that you can use a Kindle in a similar way. I’ve never even enabled WiFi on it. Just drag and drop some epubs on it via USB once in a while. Works great, is cheap, and is waterproof.
Yep, 20% is definitely NOT standard. It is too damn high. I give 20% only when a server is freaking amazing.
It’s intended to make you feel guilty. That’s the point. “Make someone feel uncomfortable enough to give you money.” Don’t give in. Stay strong.
And 15% for table service is absolutely fine.

The app is really nice.
Sync for Lemmy has a translation feature. You could try that.
