I tried Baba and really enjoyed it to start. But once I hit a wall, way earlier than I thought I would, I did touch it for like another year, and haven’t played it since.

I was really into the game before the end of the first island but really started hating that there was a mongol group every 100 feet on the roads, and that even if you roll to dodge an attack if they’re mid-air lunge they will seemingly change direction mid-air and still hit you.
I took a break partway into the 2nd island and I’m still skittish about restarting because of how repetitive the game seems.
If dating apps are an indication, this will appeal to 80% of women in america!
Takea GTA5 (or the rumors of GTA6) approach and have the narrative swap between Mac and Jenny.
The original Saints Row was wacky enough to not be just another GTA clone, SR2 kept most of the tone but got serious.
SR3 just went completely off the rails and I loved every second of it!
One tip I heard when I first got a job is if you go shopping and pay with a debit card, don’t be afraid to get $10-20 cash back just to throw in a rainy day fund. Granted the person that told me this used it to hide money from her husband but the point still stands.
Always keep emergency/rainy day money because you never know when you’ll need it
An FPS where your NPC allies/companions don’t routinely run in front of you while you’re shooting
An RPG hat doesn’t have unique items buried in a radiant/procedurally generated quest line
Is there a way to mix in the old concept of Tomboy into the conversation since that’s something older folks would maybe understand?
No! You don’t say…
I always find it strange because dark modes and light text on black backgrounds bugs the hell out of my eyes.
No, it would’ve been something along the lines of “A: We are evaluating it at this time for the best approach moving forward”
Those subs are going down faster than spez’s credibility
I never cared for RPGs growing up but when KotOR came out when I was in college I was immediately hooked! My next serious dip into the RPG pool was Oblivion and I loved it!
Skyrim, for how much it improved on Oblivion didn’t capture me the same way. Despite it red-ringing my 360 the seemingly endless random dragon attacks made me outright quit the game. It wasn’t until last year I gave it another shot on XBone with the anniversary edition and even then it wasn’t as enthralling as everyone makes it out to be
The same powermods that teed up his prepared answers…
I’m hoping it won’t happen here but the endless shoehorning about how every single little problem anyone under the age of 40 encounters is because of fUcKiNg BoOmErS, and how anyone under the age of 40 is the most oppressed group of people in the history of time.
I’ll never forgot how absolutely bonkers r/CablePorn went over this. Top posts all-time were of some truly gorgeous masterful cable-work in server rooms, colorful coordination, gore-to-porn jobs of jumbled mess to near works-of-art. Then some mildly attractive girl posts herself pointing to a comparatively meh small cabling setup it went into meltdown while also becoming one of the top posts at the time.
Part of that came from the same 3 questions being asked every 5 hours from new people. I’m not necessarily condoning or justifying it, but it did get rather annoying in r/Deadpool when every day there were 4 new posts saying “Hey, I’m new to Deadpool, what’s a good place to start reading/catching up?” despite the first item on the sidebar and FAQ was where to start and the big bold letters on a new post screen was “READ THE FAQ”.
Alternatively, I stayed away from other subs like 1911 because if it wasn’t a Springfield, Colt, or $1400 custom job you got berated and told to “save more money”
Part of that for me was when /b/ because flooded with social-threads to the point they had to make /soc/ just to get them out
Hey Randy!
I really wanted to like JFO but I just hated the combat mechanics, it almost seemed like it was lightsaber fighting underwater with how sluggish it seemed, and I hated the number of times I died early on from basic beasts just because you can’t break a 3-button combo so if they dodge ever so slightly that’s a good 2-3 seconds they have to lunge attack.
