The article is FULL of little bits like that to make them sound like reasonable people just trying to live. Thankfully the article also provides contrary evidence: 9.2% unemployment rate.
Rich afrikaners who are upset apartheid is gone and they now have to be treated like normal people bitching about how they now have to actually earn jobs instead of being handed one for being white, and they still have the majority of jobs.

We should teach people the history and utility of guillotines, not so that we might construct literal ancient technology, but to understand the important lesson: we have all the power, they are just like us, flesh and blood, and an illusion of authority over us.
We won’t need their tools, we won’t need to stuff them in concentration camps, we don’t need to torture them or become inhumane like them, but we must recognize that they won’t stop without us pushing back.

And the reason they formed a minority government is the same reason Kamala lost, their insistence on genocide. The liberal party won in Canada, because the Canadian people rejected the conservative party more, but the liberal minority government has no bite.
They didn’t defeat fascism, they (like us) desperately want a third option and didn’t have a feasible one. It’s not as bad as it could have been, so sure, “Great work, Canada!” But now the real work starts if they don’t want to go through this same drama next election.

We Palestinians will never be quiet when someone tries to whitewash Biden. This was his genocide, he made up seeing beheaded babies and used to justify slaughtering our babies, and he mocked us at every turn when we begged for a ceasefire.
Trump is only allowing Israel to continue the genocide, Biden’s and the Democrats’ genocide.
There’s a big difference between understanding and relating to the victims of atrocities, and simply not knowing about historic events.
They aren’t ignorant, you are whitewashing them and stripping them of agency. They know about the racist history that they benefit from greatly! The education system in South Africa covers the rise, implementation, and fall of apartheid in significant detail.
What are you arguing about? It could have taken you less time to look up how seriously apartheid is taken in South Africa instead of listing a bunch of irrelevant countries that don’t take seriously irrelevant crimes, what are you doing?
