I hope he doesn’t get away with it, by construing it as defense of his home or something. I don’t really understand how those self defense laws work in the US, hopefully my fears are unfounded.
In some states, you can physically help people off your property, in some states you can’t.

Our species’ weakest are inexplicably scared of everything. It might’ve been a useful trait at times in the forgotten past, but we’ve evolved a lot.
It’s one of those traits reserved for “persons of special consideration”, if you know what I mean.
Children trust everyone. They have to be taught to be fearful. And to hate.
