    As a grumpy old man… No.
    Memes used to be something that went viral and needed no explanation, you saw the image/video/animation and you knew, even with some modifications you knew what the core of the meme was. Usually funny.

    Now a meme just means whatever shit someone wants to share.
    A low quality screenshot? Meme.
    Some cut from a movie or series? Meme.
    A reposted comic (without any modification)? Meme.
    Unfunny text added to an image so it can be related to something? Meme.
    A fake conversation? Meme.
    Quality went down the drain.

    And when everything is a meme… Nothing will be.
