Hi all,

I’m seeing a lot of hate for capitalism here, and I’m wondering why that is and what the rationale behind it is. I’m pretty pro-capitalism myself, so I want to see the logic on the other side of the fence.

If this isn’t the right forum for a political/economic discussion-- I’m happy to take this somewhere else.

Cheers!

    anti-monopolistic, pro-capitalism and libertarian don’t go together.

Any libertarian capitalist system will always lead to monopolies that snuff out the competition.
To have a free market, you need regulation and you need to bust monopolies as they emerge.

That’s not what libertarians believe though. Whether they’re right or not is a separate issue. The point is, they exist, and I’d expect them to also like decentralized social networks (like they like decentralized finance).
