sorry if this isn’t the right place to post this as i’m not exactly looking for support, but i just wanted to make the admins & mods aware of an issue that may be impacting you guys. while i was reading through a thread on c/politics a few minutes ago i saw “report created” flash in the corner a 3 times even though i hadn’t created a report.

i’m not sure if these reports sent through or not, nor am i sure if this has happened before (i leave lemmy tabs open constantly while i’m not at my pc/laptop, so it may be possible) but if you guys receive a bunch of blank reports on random comments from me this is why 😅

    Thanks for bringing this up. It’s not that you are creating reports, it’s that Lemmy is notifying you of reports that were created! That really should be a ‘Toast’ only to mods and admins and not regular users.

    It’s a Lemmy bug.
