Don’t believe this functionality currently exists, but it would be cool to offer a Local view (along with Subscribed, All, etc), which would work similarly to All, but only show magazines/communities local to the kbin instance. Lemmy has this option. It’s a nice way to explore and promote the content from one’s “home”, helping to develop a stronger sense of local community, to pair with the broader global qualities of federation.

I think it bugs out sometimes, but you can choose to turn off federation by clicking the federation icon (3 dots connected by lines) in the top right and changing Status to off.
Yeah, that seems to do the trick, though I’d prefer it as a filter integrated with the other listing options, rather than a setting.
