anybody want to share about their body mods? i’m speaking broadly, including any piercings or tattoos. current, planned, or retired, i’d love to hear about them!
for me, i just have a couple facial piercings and one pair of lobe piercings. i’m starting to stretch my lobes and it’s very exciting! one of my ears needed a couple extra weeks to go up to a measly 14g, so i’m ready to be really, really patient.
I had my lip and septum peirced, but I haven’t worn any jewlrey in them for years. My septum is still open, but has gone from a 6 or 8 ga (i forget which) to about a 12 ga, with it being fairly easy to step back up to a 10ga. My lip is completely healed, and you can’t tell unless i close my mouth and pull a vacuum, in which case you can see the dimples.
I also have an RFID implanted in my hand, which i used to use to unlock my phone, but my current phones NFC antenna is a lot weaker and can’t read the tag through my skin, so it mostly goes unused unless i want to freak people out with a goofy party trick
