    Been there dude. It’s not sexy but a loaf of bread and peanut butter don’t need refrigeration and is way cheaper then eating out.

    But don’t feel bad about having what nice things you can get while you’re looking to get to a better place in life. Shits hard enough even with secured housing. Treat yo self

        That’s a tough situation friend. Hope you can prioritize changing that in the near future as not being able to cook or store food is a recipe for health issues. Even in the food deserts of the US there are usually options including shelf stable foods and alternative precooked food options that can allow you to minimize fast food. Understandably not easy, but its such a terrible road to go down I’d argue the effort is well worth it. Also, capitalizing on social networks as much as possible can help - offer to do the cooking or purchasing in exchange for access to a kitchen. Genuinely wish you the best with getting to a better place for your health. For the rest of us, the more we can support healthy easy affordable food options, we do ourselves and our communities a benefit as compared to throwing money into the fast food waste-hole.
