    Did they ever restore the old event list or is it still the mostly useless currated list that the steam version launched with?

      I can’t speak to what it was like pre steam, but they have updated it in the past to be much better. It’s in the patch notes somewhere.

    I tried to install from the dev’s site last year, but was told I was lacking some critical file it needed to run. Googled it up and it was hard to tell where the file was supposed to come from, or where I could get a clean, legit copy. :S

    I think it was an MS file, FWIW.

      The free version is out of date because they’ve been putting all of their effort into the steam version. It’s with every penny.
